Clothing Exchange
Deluxe is currently looking at clothing in exchange for store credit. Credit issued at either Deluxe or Kitsch is redeemable at both stores. It is valid for one year after its issue date. Credit is redeemable for resale merchandise only and may not be used to purchase consigned items. Store credit can be used on discounted items and during special sales. Our current trading days at Deluxe are Fridays and Saturdays from 12-7 pm. If you are interested in exchanging clothing on other days, you may bring it to Kitsch which is trading seven days a week during business hours. We take in clothing for both stores at each store, so there is no need to take items to both stores for exchange. Currently, we are not paying cash for clothing.
What we look for
We are always looking for styles that are currently popular, both vintage and modern in make. Unlike some other resale stores, we DO consider clothing with minor flaws. We are willing to mend and launder clothing that is traded in, if it is a style that we are interested in carrying in our stores, but the trade value will be adjusted to compensate for labor and materials. We do select seasonally, so you may wish to consider what the current or upcoming season is when choosing what apparel to trade in. We are always interested in looking at unique or remade items. For the sake of consistently offering variety to our customers, Deluxe and Kitsch do not exclusively rely on trade for the entirety of our inventory. Deluxe also carries wearable artistic creations from a wide variety of local designers. An additional facet to the Deluxe inventory is our merchandise which we design and manufacture in-house in the Deluxe Studio. The result of all this is a unique and eclectic inventory offering a great deal of variety to our clientele.
Return Policy
Deluxe and Kitsch accept returns within 5 days of purchase providing the tag is still attached to the item, and the original receipt is present. We offer store credit ONLY for returns, which is good for one month from the date of the return. We do not issue cash for returns. Consignment merchandise is non-returnable. Cash is paid out to designers after the sale of their merchandise, so return of these items is not accepted. If there are extenuating circumstances surrounding a return, please contact Deluxe.
